Deadpools and Harleys Abound in ‘Black and Red’ by The Library Bards

The Library Bards

You know when you see that a parody video features one of your favorite songs? There’s this moment of ‘please be like Weird Al and just make the original song cooler ahhh please don’t suck.’ Yep, that’s how I felt when I was informed that The Library Bards parodied The Cranberries’ ‘Zombie.’

Alas, my worry was for naught. Observe the geeky glory.

What I like most about this parody is that it’s done in good fun. It’s LOL-worthy without any serious or offensive insults lobbied at Deadpool, Harley Quinn, The Cranberries, or the cosplayers featured in the video. That goes to show that the content was created by geeks for geeks, and the cosplayers in the video look like those you’d actually see at conventions (you know, because they are the ones you see at conventions).

[Tweet “Check out #HarleyQuinn and #Deadpool in the latest parody from @LibraryBards”]

If you’ve ever been surrounded by a sea of Harleys and Deadpools at a convention, you’ll probably relate. Laugh along!
