Like I was saying, coming to comic shops and digital devices this June is Giant-Size Little Marvel: AvX as a part of the even more giant-sized Secret Wars event.  Written and drawn by the Skottie Young, known for his baby-fied variants of many Marvel titles, as well as his series Rocket Raccoon, this book smashes together the two tiny-tot teams of the Avengers and the X-Men in a titanic fight for the fate of their universe.

Young is the creative mind behind 2012’s smash-hit solo comic A-Babies vs. X-Babies, and this new Secret Wars title promises to be just as awesome and action-packed (just so long as they finish up before naptime!).

The two legendary groups of fighters are going head-to-head on Battleworld.  Marvel promises there will be plenty of epic battle action featuring all our favorite Avengers and X-Men.  The rosters are short-stacked with little legends like Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Beast, Magik, and many more fighting on the X-Men side, and Black Widow, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk and plenty of others battling on the Avengers side.

Young likens it to a childhood neighborhood feud to see whose group of friends is the best- settled with eye lasers, demons, and all the other famous powers we’re familiar with.  If it’s anything like the fun and hilarity of A-Babies vs. X-Babies, this book is sure to have you cooing as the fun-sized fighters beat the snot out of each other.

It’s pure, unadulterated entertainment that you won’t want to miss, so keep your eyes open for when Issue #1 of this Secret Wars title releases in June- these kids aren’t playing make-believe anymore.
