#V. The Calimacil Foam LED Lightsaber

If the Star Wars geek in your life is also a LARPer, they’ve most likely heard about this new campaign. Calimacil launched a Kickstarter with the initial goal of $50,000 on November 3rd, 2013. Even though the weapon is not available for purchase yet, I’m placing it on this list for future reference.

On this crowd fund’s final day, patrons pledged over $144,000 to help see this new weapon come to life! The foam lightsaber has LED configuration for different color options and sound effects.

#IV. The Black Series Action Figures

Leia 1 by Marvel - Star Wars ComicsAction figures? Yes. This collectible series of toys are making their way to shelves and quickly disappearing. Featuring characters not only from the new film, but the old as well, these are sure to make your geek’s inner-child come alive! I did see some of the figures at Barnes & Noble the other day incase you’d like to see them in person. The website does them no justice.

#III. Marvel Star Wars Comics

Debuting this year, Marvel has issued new comics for readers to enjoy! Star Wars is currently up to issue #13, while its sub-series, Darth Vader’s 14th issue is to be published on December 23rd, 2015 and Princess Leia is up to issue #5. Chewbacca also has his storyline!
