The Geek Initiative To Feature Female Cosplayers (And Characters) Attending NYCC

Are you a female cosplayer attending NYCC this year? Would you like some free publicity prior to the event?

If you’re interested, email Tara at [email protected] We are looking to interview notable female cosplayers (or cosplay groups that include female characters). You don’t have to be a famous cosplayer to warrant a feature, but you should have at least 2 existing photos of yourself cosplaying.

We wish to emphasize diversity in cosplay and are interested in featuring crossplayers and cosplayers of all shapes and sizes. If you’re a lady doing cosplay and/or portraying a female character, we’d love to hear from you.

How to get featured:

  • Email Senior Editor Tara: [email protected]
  • Introduce yourself and shoot us a link to your existing cosplay website (if no site exists, it’s fine to just send along a photo or two)

Note: We respect personal safety. As a result, we do not publish personal contact information for any of our featured cosplayers. Minors are welcome to apply with the written permission of their parents.
