Female Gamers Unite for Chainmail Bikini

The final hours of Chainmail Bikini’s Kickstarter are here and before time runs out, you should check them out, especially if you’re a female gamer. The book, edited by Hazel Newlevant, is a compilation of comics drawn by female cartoonists and illustrators focusing on why they’re passionate about gaming, and it’s a fantastic looking project. The anthology features the work of nearly 40 collaborators, and covers all forms of gaming. It doesn’t matter if you’re into video games, LARP, RPGs or more, this book has something for you.

Although they’ve already reached their financing goal (over 5x more than needed, I might add) continued contributions help pay the artists who worked hard for this project, and we can all appreciate how great that it. Not to mention, they’ve already been able to enhance the quality of the book’s printing through fundraising. All this is fantastic news, but I haven’t even gotten to the best part — only $10 will get you a PDF copy of the anthology, and only $25 will get you the paperback book in its entirety.

For women and gaming fans alike, this is a great project to support because gaming has a fun way of shaping the people we become. Hopefully these stories inspire a new generation of female gamers across the board, field, or screen of choice.
